NYU Gallatin
The NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Studies is a small interdisciplinary liberal arts college situated within the larger NYU. Students at Gallatin design their own interdisciplinary concentration, working with faculty advisers to create a unique program of study across different fields and schools within NYU.
As Assistant Director of Communications, I partner with the Dean, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to advance the school’s mission through strategic storytelling and high-impact communications.
My key contributions include:
Strategic Leadership and Impact
Leading integrated campaigns across digital, print, and environmental channels to elevate Gallatin’s visibility
Delivering record-high digital engagement through targeted content and performance optimization
Helping to drive a 29.2% increase in Early Decision I and II applications for AY25–26—among the highest across the university
Digital and Social Performance
Achieving 17M+ impressions and more than tripled social media followers in three years
Developed analytics-driven content strategies to deepen engagement and strengthen Gallatin’s brand.
Optimizing email marketing to achieve open and click rates nearly 3× higher-ed benchmarks
Creative Direction & Collaboration
Mentoring student communicators and guiding faculty/staff on digital and editorial strategy
Overseeing Gallatin’s editorial voice and design standards to ensure consistency and excellence
Producing standout communications for major initiatives, including Orientation, Fashion Week, and Graduation
Across every project, I craft narratives that celebrate Gallatin’s creativity, community, and vision, helping the school shine both within NYU and beyond.
